Solomon's Song and the Hiawatha Valley Mental Health have partnered to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
On Friday, May 12th, they will be hosting an author talk and book signing with Charles Monroe-Kane, author of Lithium Jesus.
Monroe- Kane, Senior Producer and Interviewer for To the Best of Our Knowledge on Wisconsin Public Radio, will share his experience with mental illness, substance abuse, faith, and love. Monroe-Kane's memoir covers various sides of mental illness with honesty and transparency.
The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Winona County History Center.
