WSU Women's Golf

Winona State slipped to 12th in the second round on Tuesday, shooting a 335 as a team. Madelyn Miller improved six strokes on Tuesday, shooting an 82 and leading WSU.


Jessica Blanchard followed up her 79 with an 84 and is tied for 37th overall. Marissa Geyer improved seven strokes, shooting an 83 on day two. Carly Clay is tied for 50th after shooting an 86.


Through two rounds, Winona State is ninth in par-5 scoring in the tournament. The Warriors have seven birdies during the tournament.


Blanchard has 17 pars in two days to lead the Warriors. Marissa Geyer is second with 15.


Clay, Blanchard and Miller all have two birdies through the first two rounds. The 3rd and final round get underway this morning.
