New R-P School

The Rushford-Peterson school district held a ribbon cutting for its new state-of-the-art school on Saturday and thousands of people showed up.

The building houses early childhood through 12th grade classes and was constructed at a cost of over 33-million dollars.

Construction on the new school began in October of 2015 after voters in the school district approved a bond referendum in 2014 to help pay for it.

The grand opening came exactly ten years after Rushford suffered a devastating flood and much damage to its original high school.
