One of the newest paddlewheelers to travel the Mississippi River will make a stop in Winona next month. The American Duchess, with 166 passengers, will stop at the Winona levee on Tuesday, September 5th. It's a sister boat to the American Queen which stopped in Winona on August 12th. It's the second stop on a nine-day excurision down the Mississippi River. Passengers will be able to go on walking tour of the downtown Winona area and also be escorted on tours of the city.
