Flood Damage-Trempealeau County
Federal officials have estimated that Trempealeau County sustained some 1.3 million dollars in flood-related damage in late July.
Trempealeau County is one of the 11 western Wisconsin counties included in Governor Scott Walker's request for federal disaster aid.
If the disaster aid is approved by FEMA, the counties, including Buffalo County, would qualify for up to 75-percent of the cost of the damage.
FEMA officials said the largest amount of damage in Trempealeau County totaled $950,000 to roads and bridges.
