The Polish Apple festival will be held Sunday October 1st from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Polish Museum in Winona.
Besides food, this year's festival will have something for everyone. Elephant train rides and Polish TV cartoons for the kids. A Norwegian Fjord horse and Polish sheep dogs. Live music and a Polka Band will play throughout the day and the local International dancers will perform at 2 p.m.
Area crafters will be selling their goods along with a very large sale of pottery direct from Poland. A large silent auction with many new items and gift certificates will be held at the end of the day, along with a big ticket raffle.
Polish men and women who have started businesses will be represented in the Polish Power show on Liberty Street.
Last but not least, there will be apples from Father Paul's orchard. They can be had as fresh juice, bagged, as carmel apples or in a slice of pie with ice cream.
