Library Closed Week

The Winona Public Library will be closed November 6th-9th due to construction and November 10th-11th for Veterans Day.  During that time, no overdue fines will be charged for materials and interlibrary loans will be held for an extra week.  The book drop at the old main entrance door on 5th Street will be open.

 The library will continue to offer programming throughout the week of the closure.  The following is a list of location changes for programs that were scheduled the week of November 6th:

 The Magic of Isaiah will be held at the East End Recreation Center (210 Zumbro St.) on Monday, November 6th.  Registration is required for this event.   To sign up for the 2:30PM session, go to, or the 3:30PM  session at

 Classic Movie Monday will be held at the Friendship Center on Monday, November 6th at 1PM.

 Book Bingo will be held at Winona City Hall in the Council Chambers on Wednesday, November 8th at 2PM.

 Introduction to Mindfulness will meet at the Winona Friendship Center (251 Main St) on Thursday, November 9th, from 6-7 pm.  Must be registered for this class.

 The library will reopen on Monday, November 13th at 10AM.
