It didn't take too long for the first baby of 2010 to arrive at Community Memorial Hospital.
A hospital spokesperson says Mya Pearson made her appearance at 6:33 a.m. New Years Day.
She is the daughter of Michelle Pearson and Tim Gilchrist of Lewiston and weighed in at 6-pounds and 11-ounces.
As the 2010 New Year's baby, Mya and her parents will receive a number of new gifts provided by local and area merchants and businesses in the annual New Year's Baby promotion.
