With the 2010 census forms scheduled to arrive in the mail next week it's not too late to get a job helping out with the census.
Rich Gerdes is the Assistant Regional Census Manager from Kansas City, and he says they are still looking for census workers in this area. Gerdes says the census bureau will be hiring about one thousand people in southeastern Minnesota for jobs that pay well over $10 an hour. Some 8,000 people will be hired statewide.
