Landowners with concerns about recent changes to the Green Acres program in Minnesota are encouraged to attend a special meeting in Winona on Tuesday, March 23rd.
State Senator Sharon Erickson Ropes will be hosting the session at the Minnesota State College student center in order to address the controversial changes which have seen some landowner's property taxes increase 30-percent or more..
Ropes says input from landowners, including farmers, will also be taken.
Also on hand will be representatives of the Department of Revenue and the Minnesota Farm Bureau and Farmer's Union.
