WSU and SMU Track Athletes to Take Part in Indoor Championships This Weekend

Winona State and Saint Mary's will both be sending athletes to the NCAA Division II and Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. Winona State will have three individuals taking part in the Division II championships in Alburquerque, New Mexico. Rebecca Steir is making her third straight appearance at the indoor championships and she will take part in the shot put and the weight throw. Steir has the second longest qualifying throw in the shot put heading into the weekend.
Mary Theisen will also take part in the shot put while Kelly Shaw will run in the 400 meter dash.
Saint Mary’s is sending Andrew Brueggen to the Division III championships in Green Castle, Indiana. Brueggen will take part in the shot put event.
