In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, Winona State University will host Recyclemania's Go Green Recycling Rally from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, in the Science Laboratory Center Atrium.
Current standings for this year's recycling competition at WSU will be revealed, and student volunteers will present a variety of games and displays that highlight specific forms of recycling.
There will be free, green cupcakes to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, and prizes will be given to those who wear the most green.
Recyclemania is a nationwide collegiate competition and benchmarking tool for university recycling programs to promote waste reduction activities on campus.
