Buffalo County Partnership Council


The Buffalo County Partnership Council convened on Monday, September 11, 2017 at
their first meeting of the 2017-2018 academic year. At their September meeting Buffalo County Partnership Council members welcomed new members and reviewed upcoming
grant opportunities from the Northwest Coalition and the Department of Public Instruction.
The coalition was recognized by the state as a member in good standing of the Alliance for Youth that works to promote alcohol and drug prevention and positive youth development.
Students in Cochrane-Fountain City, Gilmanton, Alma and Mondovi schools all participated
in the meeting along with adult members of youth serving agencies and organizations. Members elected new officers for the year: Chairperson, Brilyn Brecka, Alma Schools;
Vice Chairperson, Kayla Kaczorowski, Cochrane-Fountain City Schools; Secretary,
students of Alma Schools and Treasurer, Gretchen Pederson, Cochrane-Fountain City Schools.

Ready Set School Donation


So grateful to our friends at Cars-N-Credit for their second annual backpack drive! Ready Set School received 14 backpacks loaded with notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, and more!

All donated items go to local students as they prepare for the new school year.
