LANESBORO ARTS is proud to host three short documentary film events presented and curated by the Frozen River Film Festival and the Iraqi-American Reconciliation Project at the St. Mane Theatre in scenic Lanesboro on Saturday, February 3, 2018. “Iraqi Voices” will be shown at 1p.m., “Jeff’s World” begins at 4p.m., while the “Adventure Film Set” will start at 7:30 p.m. A Cross-Cultural Storytelling Workshop will also take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Upper Level Studio Space of the St. Mane Theatre.  These screenings will kick off the 2018 Frozen River Film Festival, taking place in Winona, MN February 7 -11. Film-goers are invited to attend the opening reception for the 4th annual Emerging Artist Exhibition also happening Feb. 3, from 5 p.m. to 7p.m., at the Lanesboro Arts Gallery.  Tickets for each screening event are $7/$5 LA member (FRFF 2018 Donor Premiere and Big Muddy Passes will also be honored) and are available online at lanesboroarts.org, at Lanesboro Arts Gallery, by calling 507-467-2446, and at the St. Mane Theatre box office one hour prior to each screening on February 3. The Frozen River Film Festival offers documentary films and programming that engage, educate and activate our community to become involved in the world.
