(KWNO)-A Red Wing man is dead after a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in western Wisconsin. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says a northbound cycle driven by 58-year-old Michael Cardell went into the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 63 to avoid slow traffic and collided with an SUV in Trenton Tonwship. Deputies say Cardell was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene. A passenger in the SUV was taken to a Red Wing hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
