The Winona County Sheriff's Department says a 40-year-old Elba area man was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed off a gravel road Tuesday evening.
                  
Investigator Kraig Glover said Lorne Lane Lundeen was westbound on Fischer Hill Road near Elba when he lost control. The cycle entered the ditch where it struck a rock outcropping and Lundeen was thrown off.  He was taken to a Rochester hospital by the Mayo One helicopter.  The crash was reported at 9:38 p.m.
